Our Managing Director, Executive Director, Head of Business Development, and Head of Finance proudly represented the company at the 14th Annual Mineral Wealth Conference (MWC2025), held from 24–25 September 2025 at the Serena Hotel in Kampala.
Hosted by the Uganda Chamber of Energy and Minerals (UCEM) in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), the conference brought together more than 850 delegates, 31 exhibitors, and experts from 21 nationalities under the theme:
“Sustainable Mineral Development through Collaboration, Innovation and Green Transitions.”
This high-level engagement provided our leadership team with valuable insights into Uganda’s evolving mineral landscape, policy priorities, and investment opportunities. The conference featured keynote sessions, panel discussions, technical dialogues, and a series of breakout sessions focused on:
- Sustainable and inclusive mineral development
- Policy reform and enforcement of the Mining and Minerals Act (2022)
- Digitization of geological data and improved transparency
- Community engagement and responsible mining practices
- Value addition, industrialization, and regional competitiveness
- Innovation, green technologies, and digital transformation
- Financing mining and strengthening local industry
Our participation reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting national efforts aimed at responsible resource management, value addition, and strengthening Uganda’s position within the regional minerals value chain.
